Tina qualified from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (Hons) degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy and is specially trained to play an important role in dental health care which is tailored to your needs. She has a gentle yet meticulous approach in practising treatment with an emphasis on patient education and prevention. As a hygienist her main role is to professionally clean the teeth for the patient (scaling and polishing) and monitor their gum health.
Furthermore as a Dental Therapist, Tina is able to carry out additional procedures such as temporary or permanent fillings on both adults and children, placement of pre formed crowns on deciduous teeth, treatment of the nerves (pulp therapy) of deciduous teeth as well as the extraction of deciduous teeth under local infiltration analgesia.
Tina is also a member of the British Society of Hygiene and Therapy and the British Association of Dental Therapy.
